Jenna Ortega got really emotional when she talked about her struggles with being true to herself on social media during a heartfelt conversation with Elle Fanning on Variety’s Actors on Actors series.
While discussing their experiences with fame at a young age and dealing with toxic work environments, Jenna, who stars in the show “Wednesday,” opened up about her complicated relationship with Instagram.
Elle, known for her role in “Teen Spirit,” admitted that she sometimes finds the online world toxic. This struck a chord with Jenna, who started crying as she shared how her sarcastic and dry sense of humor often lands her in trouble.

Jenna’s voice cracked as she talked about the challenges of being honest while also protecting her own well-being. She described it as a strange balancing act where she has to be careful not to jeopardize her health and safety.
