The buzz around the musical drama ‘Kushi‘ has been consistently growing since its initial announcement. The creators unveiled a series of melodious songs and an enthralling trailer that have been warmly embraced by the audience.
Excitement is palpable as viewers eagerly anticipate the on-screen chemistry between Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who are set to share the screen for the first time.
In a recent promotional event, Vijay Deverakonda responded to questions regarding the experiences of superstars like Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi who have faced setbacks with flop films.
Vijay fiercely defended these legendary personalities, expressing his love for their contributions to the industry and enduring stardom.
Vijay said at the ‘Kushi’ promotion event in Chennai that a few failed projects couldn’t decrease the enormous status of celebrities like Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi.
When asked about Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi’s success-failure dynamic, Vijay succinctly responded, “Superstars transcend the sphere of hits and fails. Rajinikanth sir might have a few films that aren’t successful, but then he might produce a hit movie like “Jailer,” which earns an astounding Rs 500 crore.
Simply observing and appreciating are our roles. He continued by praising Megastar Chiranjeevi and stressing the possibility of a comeback even after a string of failures.
Vijay mentioned how Chiranjeevi may experience a dramatic turnaround similar to his impact with “Sankranti” if he put his energy into it and worked with the appropriate director.
The introduction of Chiranjeevi altered a number of facets of the industry, including action sequences, dancing routines, and general acting ability. Vijay also underlined the value of respecting senior performers who are regarded as legends and spoke out against making snap decisions based just on box office performance.
The actor highlighted the importance of Kamal Sir and Rajini Sir by expressing his joy at their reappearance in “Vikram” and “Jailer,” respectively.
Vijay had previously addressed the topic of setbacks during the trailer launch of ‘Kushi’, candidly discussing the disappointments he encountered, including his Bollywood debut ‘Liger‘.
He acknowledged the pain of a film not meeting expectations, but highlighted the cyclical nature of successes and failures in the creative realm. Despite the inherent risks, he reaffirmed his commitment to storytelling and his readiness to immerse himself fully in every endeavor.
‘Kushi’ is scheduled for a theatrical release on September 1st, promising to captivate audiences with its unique narrative.
