Actor and comedian Pete Davidson has reportedly been charged with reckless driving in connection to a car crash in Beverly Hills earlier this year, according to information obtained by CNN.

In a statement provided to E! News on June 16, the District Attorney’s Office revealed, “We believe that Mr. Davidson engaged in reckless driving, which ultimately resulted in his involvement in a serious collision into a home.

Fortunately, the statement added, “Luckily, no one was seriously injured as a result of this collision.”

The District Attorney’s Office emphasized the severity of reckless driving, pointing out the alarming fact that traffic-related deaths in Los Angeles reached the highest level in 20 years. In response, they stressed the importance of taking all allegations of reckless driving seriously and holding those responsible accountable, stating, “This is an alarming trend that we cannot ignore. As a result, it’s crucial that we take all allegations of reckless driving seriously and hold those responsible accountable.

The charges against Davidson were filed three months after a separate incident in which he collided with a fire hydrant in Beverly Hills on March 4.

TMZ reported that Davidson’s girlfriend, actress Chase Sui Wonders, was present during both incidents, and Lieutenant Christopher Coulter of the Beverly Hills police confirmed that an accident report was taken for the property damage caused by the crash.

For the background, in the month of August in the year 2014, a noteworthy incident involving Davidson came to light. As documented in the court records, while traversing the roads of Virginia, he was observed exceeding the permissible speed limit by a considerable margin.

The exact details of this transgression indicate that he was traveling at a speed of 74 miles per hour in an area where the designated limit was 55 miles per hour. Remarkably, the records list the actor under the moniker of “Pete Waters-Davidson,” showcasing an intriguing facet of his identity.

Taking accountability for his actions, this individual, hailing from the borough of Staten Island, subsequently appeared in a traffic court after several months had elapsed. It was within this judicial setting that a verdict was reached, compelling him to fulfill a financial obligation amounting to the sum of $114 as part of the imposed fines.
