Selena Gomez got rid of photos of herself wearing a controversial brand after her fans criticized her. Her fans are really upset with her.
The 30-year-old singer recently posted a bunch of pictures on her Instagram where she’s seen enjoying some ice cream with a friend.
In the photos, Selena is wearing a gray Balenciaga sweatshirt and blue denim shorts. Her hair is styled in a high ponytail, and she’s wearing golden hoop earrings and sneakers to complete the look. She captioned the post, “Ice cream chillin.”
Right after she posted it, her fans noticed the sweatshirt and called her out for supporting the controversial brand. In case you didn’t know, the luxury brand faced criticism last November for their Spring/Summer 2023 collection, which featured kids posing with teddy bears wearing bondage-style gear.
The ad campaign also reportedly included court documents from a child sexual abuse case. Selena Gomez’s fans didn’t hold back when it came to criticizing her for seemingly supporting the controversial brand.

Selena Gomez apologized for wearing Balenciaga in a previous picture. She said, “While I have everyone’s attention, I didn’t mean to offend anyone with my last Instagram post. It was from 2018/2019. I’m really sorry for my mistake.”
