Today, R Balki’s most recent movie, “Ghoomer,” was released in theaters. Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher play the key roles in the film.

A few famous people had the chance to watch the movie before it was released and give their opinions. Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag was one among them and shared his opinion on social media.

Abhishek Bachchan’s father, Amitabh Bachchan, praised Sehwag and published the review on his Instagram page.

VIRENDER SEHWAG SINGS THE ‘GHOOMER”S’ FAVOR Big B thanked Virender Sehwag for his comments about his son Abhishek Bachchan’s movie “Ghoomer.

The video that Big B posted showed the former Indian batsman saying in Hindi, “I saw Ghoomer yesterday. It was a great film and I enjoyed watching a cricket-based film after a long time. It has not only cricket but also emotions. You will understand the struggle of a sportsperson, especially how difficult it is to make a comeback after an injury.”

Sehwag continued, “I never respect a spinner but the way Saiyami has spun the ball was amazing. I never listened to my coach but the way Abhishek has acted, you will have to listen to him. Watch Ghoomer on August 18 and get inspired.

And just like Amitabh Bachchan has said, I am also saying, ‘I love this game’. Don’t forget to bring some tissues as well as it will make you cry.”

Ghoomer movie tells the story of Anina, a former Indian female cricketer, played by Saiyami Kher. Anina’s dream to play for the Indian cricket team is shattered when she suffers an accident and loses her arm.

Despite the odds, Anina never gives up, and with the guidance and inspiration of her coach Paddy (Abhishek Bachchan), she overcomes the difficulties and realizes her ambition of playing for the Indian cricket team.

The film depicts Anina’s journey following the accident and how, after losing her right hand—her batting hand before making her international debut—she remade herself as a bowler with a distinctive style of bowling, known as Ghoomer. She applied her spin to Ghoomer to confuse the opposition.
