Millie Bobby Brown, who is best known for her role in the popular Netflix series “Stranger Things,” has announced her engagement to Jake Bongiovi, the son of renowned singer Jon Bon Jovi.
The 19-year-old actress shared a photo of herself with Bongiovi on Instagram, in which an engagement ring was visible on her finger. In the caption, Brown quoted a lyric from Taylor Swift’s song “Lover“, adding a white heart emoji.
Bongiovi also posted two photos of the couple on his own Instagram page with the caption “forever“.
Brown and Bongiovi confirmed their relationship in June 2021, after Brown shared a photo of him on her Instagram page. In a January post, Brown referred to Bongiovi as her “partner for life” and shared several photos of the couple.
Bongiovi, who is also an actor, recently landed his second major role in a coming-of-age film called “Rockbottom”. Meanwhile, the upcoming fifth season of “Stranger Things” is set to be the show’s final season.
However, a prequel is in the works for London’s West End, and an animated series has been announced by Netflix.
The engagement news comes after weeks of speculation on social media that the couple was planning to tie the knot. While Brown and Bongiovi are both young, it seems that they are committed to each other and are excited to spend their future together.
